How many air purifiers are on the market? I don’t really know the exact numbers because there are in fact countless types of new air purifiers are being launched each single day. However, I do happen to have a neighbor who bought one of these Sharper Image Air Purifiers fairly recently, which brings me to another question. Is Sharper Image a better marketing company than it is a producer of quality merchandise? I suppose you’d have to ask the people who bought their products.

Sharper image: Ionic Breeze GP Silent Air Purifier

My neighbor wanted me to come over and check out this new air quality in her house. She has a cat and I don’t particularly like cats in the first place, but I can always tell when someone has a cat because no matter how meticulous they are about cleaning that litter box, I can always smell the odor of a cat’s presence in a house. Although I am not allergic, it’s not pleasant and does not entice me to prolong my visit. My neighbor had used the Ionic Breeze for about 3 days by the time I got over there. I must say that I did not recognize the odor of the cat when I walked in, the difference in air quality between the outdoors and the inside of her house having been so obvious in the past, though not at all obvious now. It seems to me that the Ionic Breeze was a great investment for her because the cat odor was just not there anymore.

We do have to get back to the question of whether or not any other air purifier might have done the same thing for less money. I just don’t know the answer to this, and I don’t suspect that anyone could know unless they had experimented with other air purifiers of varying costs. The actual unit was nice looking, unobtrusive, and looked lightweight enough to be easily portable to another area of the house. Indeed, it was virtually silent, and so it did not at all interfere with the stereo that was softly playing in the background of the same room.

My friend was certainly pleased that I could no longer smell her cat, and I think that my refusal to spend much time at her home in the past was one of the incentives for her to buy the Ionic Breeze Air Purifier. Maybe I should request a commission check from Sharper Image.
